The Metropolitan Airports Commission is accepting applications for Airport Maintenance Workers for the following airport locations:  MSP, Airlake, Anoka-County Blaine, Crystal, Flying Cloud, Lake Elmo, and St. Paul Downtown.

Position Summary:  Primarily performs maintenance duties to FAA standards, which includes the skilled and semi-skilled level work required to maintain the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport and the Reliever Airports airfields, grounds, and roadway maintenance functions. This work may be in close proximity of aircraft operations.  Typical duties include snow and ice control on airfield and in public areas such as roadways and terminal areas. as well as performing grounds keeping, concrete and asphalt pavement repairs, truck driving, mowing, weeding, fence installation and repair, garbage removal and general cleanup of the airfield and public areas of the airport.

Base Pay, Pay Differentials, and Shifts
  • Base Pay (Based on 2020 rates). Year 1:  $25.223Year 3: $30.513Year 2:  $27.887Year 4:  $31.650

Pay Differentials/Incentives
  • +$0.25/hour - Class A CDL
  • +$1.05/hour - 2nd Shift*
  • +$1.15/hour - 3rd Shift*
  • +$1.30/hour - Responsibility Premium
* Shift assignment are seniority based.
