This position reports to the Records Management Supervisor and is responsible for processing property and evidence and compiling police reports and digital evidence for discovery purposes for the Airport Police Department (APD).  In this position you will formulate, develop, ensure implementation of and provide continuous review of Property and Evidence Room goals and objectives to maintain integrity of evidence and property; conduct training for APD staff regarding the standard operating procedures of the Property and Evidence Room;  coordinate work of personnel assisting with property and evidence management; work closely with the public, county, local, and state agencies to coordinate activities and uniformly comply with requirements established by the APD; and provide back-up to the APD Records Department and other duties as assigned.

Hours/Schedule:  Mondays - Fridays, Days

Ideal Candidate:  Will have applicable knowledge of laws and procedures related to the intake, management and disposition of property and evidence along with experience working in a law enforcement environment or the desire to do so.  Comfortable working with digital media (audio, video) in response to data requests.  Detail-oriented, organized, analytical and able to provide excellent internal/external customer service while working both independently and as part of a team.
