Services for MSP’s Neighbors The MAC administers the most extensive noise mitigation program in the nation, providing residential noise abatement improvements well beyond the federal standard for mitigation. In 2017, the MAC provided mitigation to 79 homes at a cost of more than $1.5 million and introduced an additional 48 homes to the first phase of construction. To date, the MAC has provided mitigation to more than 15,000 homes, nearly 3,300 multi-family units and 19 schools at a total cost approaching $500 million. 22 23
