The Metropolitan Airports Commission operates six general aviation airports, sometimes referred to as “reliever airports,” because they draw traffic away from bustling Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP). All are within 35 miles of both Minneapolis and St. Paul’s downtowns.
