The MAC recaps its operations in an annual report to the Minnesota State Legislature, as required by the state. The report covers recent conditions at our airports, a recap of improvement projects at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport and our reliever airports, and an overview of MAC leadership, among other topics.
2017-2022 Strategic Plan
There are seven goals in our Strategic Plan, representing the foundational pillars of successfully operating a large airport system. The Plan’s components guide us in achieving new capabilities and outcomes that will take us to a new level of excellence.

The MAC’s Board of Commissioners adopts ordinances when general, permanent rules of conduct are needed, providing a process that invites a high degree of public participation.
The MAC operates an industry-leading, comprehensive Community Relations Office that works with airport partners to reduce aircraft noise impacts associated with MSP Airport and the MAC’s six reliever airports.
MSP – Assessment of Environmental Effects
As part of MSP Airport’s ongoing Capital Improvement Program (CIP), the MAC regularly files an Assessment of Environmental Effects (AOEE) pertaining to the most recent CIP.
