Our Purpose
Launched with the support of Northwest Airlines and progressive Minnesota governor Harold Stassen in 1943, the MAC has worked to make the Minneapolis-St. Paul region a thriving hub for eight decades.
At its core, the MAC aims to connect the Twin Cities region to the world while using a sustainable business model that provides the best customer experience. The MAC also strives to remain well positioned for changes in the aviation industry.

Meet Our Board of Commissioners
The Metropolitan Airports Commission is led by a 15-member policy-making board, 13 by the Minnesota governor and one each by the mayors of Minneapolis and St. Paul.
