Bylaws & Ordinances
Bylaws and Code of Ethics
The Metropolitan Airports Commission's (MAC) bylaws govern the organization's internal affairs. Bylaws are intended to provide structure and guidance to aid the commission in fulfilling its obligations under Minnesota state law. Additionally, the commission's bylaws support its mission to provide and promote safe, convenient, environmentally sound and cost-effective aviation services.
Ordinances
Under Minnesota Statute 473.608, subd. 17, the Metropolitan Airports Commission may adopt ordinances it deems necessary for the management and operation of its system of airports and relating to the internal operation of the commission. The commission adopts ordinances when general, permanent rules of conduct are needed, providing a process that invites a high degree of public participation.
