Thank you for your interest in doing business with the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC). A number of opportunities exist for businesses and individuals to provide goods and services to the MAC and its airports.
Providing Goods and Services to the MAC
As a public corporation of the State of Minnesota, the MAC abides by certain established policies and procedures for the solicitation and procurement of goods and services.
To learn more about current opportunities, click on the Solicitations tab.
Bidding
The MAC solicits bids for large construction projects and purchases of most goods and services totaling $175,000 or more. The primary locations where these requests for bids are published are:
- The Solicitations listing on this site
- State Register: http://www.mmd.admin.state.mn.us/solicitations.htm
The Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Human Rights is responsible to issue construction workforce hiring goals (minority and female) for certain state-funded projects and to monitor compliance by affected contractors.
For information regarding compliance monitoring of MAC projects for the state workforce hiring goals, visit the MDHR's Web site at http://mn.gov/mdhr/employers/contract-compliance.
