Samantha Porter

Samantha Porter joined the MAC in 2023 as its vice president, Finance and Revenue Development. She oversees the departments of Finance, Commercial Management and Airline Affairs, and Risk Management/Insurance.

Porter has more than 25 years of experience in the transportation industry. She was previously the chief operating officer of the Minnesota Valley Transit Authority (MVTA), where she directed the operations of Minnesota’s second largest public transit agency and was responsible for the agency’s operating and capital budgets. Prior to that, she served as MVTA’s director of transportation and operations manager.

Porter is a member of several industry associations including the International Facility Management Association, Risk Management Society and American Public Transit Association. She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Minnesota.
