The Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) will begin accepting applications at the end of July 2026 to fill multiple Seasonal Airport Maintenance Worker and Temporary Snow Removal Team Member positions for the 2026–27 winter season.

All are welcome to come learn about these exciting career opportunities. Anyone interested in seasonal or temporary roles — or in exploring a career in Field Maintenance — is invited to attend a free Open House on Saturday, July 25, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to get up-close and hands-on access to several specialized pieces of equipment used at our airport. Field Maintenance employees and leadership will also be available to answer questions and discuss the positions.

Seasonal Airport Maintenance Workers support the maintenance of Minneapolis–St. Paul International Airport’s airfields, grounds and roadways. Responsibilities include:

  • Snow and ice control on runways, taxiways, roadways, ramp aprons and terminal areas
  • Groundskeeping and landscaping
  • Concrete and bituminous pavement repairs
  • Fence installation and repair
  • General cleanup of airfield and public areas

Snow Removal Team Members operate a variety of equipment to remove snow from sidewalks, parking lots and field lights to ensure a safe environment for the travelling public. Additional duties include:

  • Washing equipment
  • General cleanup
  • Other assigned tasks
