Field Maintenance Open House

Find out what it takes to join the award-winning FIELD MAINTENANCE TEAM at MSP Airport.

The Metropolitan Airports Commission is accepting applications to fill multiple Seasonal Airport Maintenance Worker and Temporary Snow Removal Team Member positions for the 2025-26 winter season through September 9, 2025.  

Seasonal Airport Maintenance Workers maintain the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport’s airfields, grounds, and roadway maintenance functions.  This includes snow and ice control on the airfield and on public areas such as roadways and terminal areas of the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. In addition, this position performs grounds keeping, concrete and asphalt pavement repairs, truck driving, mowing, weeding, fence installation and repair, garbage removal and general cleanup of the airfield and public areas of the airport.

Snow Removal Team Members use a variety of snow removal equipment to remove snow from sidewalks, parking lots, and field lights.  In addition, Snow Removal Team Members wash equipment, help with general clean-up, and complete other tasks as assigned.  

This open house will give you a chance to learn more about this exciting career and get an up-close look at some of our prized equipment.
