The Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) hosted an information session to share contracting and bidding opportunities related to more than $2 billion in construction projects at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) over the next three years.

The on-site event on Oct. 27 informed contractors and small businesses about the full scope of projects planned for MSP Airport and how to contract with the MAC, which operates the airport.

Highlights

  • The MAC draft CIP includes more than $2 billion in projects over the next 3 years. More than 100 projects are planned for 2026 ranging in value from $100,000 to $45 million
  • Several of those projects are not at the terminal buildings (in unbadged areas)
  • The MAC started a new small business program
  • Attendees receive details on how to bid and contract with the MAC for 2026 MSP Airport projects
  • Contractor networking
