MSP NOC July Meeting Update

The Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) Noise Oversight Committee (NOC) met this week on July 20.  At this meeting, the NOC heard from guest speaker Lt. Col. Denny Paulsen from the 133rd Airlift Wing of the Minnesota Air National Guard (ANG). Lt. Col. Paulsen provided an overview of the history of the ANG and the unit based at MSP, as well as their current mission and operation. The NOC heard about the C-130 Hercules fleet including maintenance and operation activity and characteristics, and the future of the fleet.

This meeting included the premier of the C-130 Hercules Meet the Fleet video, the fifth video in the series (featured below).

The NOC is an advisory board to the MAC and is comprised of industry and community representatives who address aircraft noise issues associated with activity at MSP. The group meets on the third Wednesday of odd-numbered months.
