Valet service returns to MSP

Valet service returns to MSP

July 29, 2021

MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL – Valet parking service is set to return to Terminal 1 at Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) on Sunday, Aug. 1. The service will reopen in a newly remodeled space utilizing locally sourced construction materials for enhanced aesthetics.

MSP’s remodeled valet parking area features a new entrance, lobby and curbside zone. Renovations include Kasota limestone on the space’s walls, slip-resistant granite flooring and mosaics throughout the indoor waiting area.

“We’re pleased to be able to reintroduce MSP’s valet parking amenity in a new and improved space,” said Brian Ryks, CEO of the Metropolitan Airports Commission, which operates MSP. “Though the service is still in the same location, valet customers pulling up to the space will notice a bright new look and welcoming entrance. We were able to fast-track aspects of the renovation project due to the pandemic and are glad to mark the return of yet another high-demand passenger amenity at MSP.”

Passengers can access valet parking at Terminal 1 by following the inbound roadway past hourly and daily parking, and past the rental car return ramp. From inside the terminal, passengers can take the elevator or escalator to Level V to pick up their vehicle.

The new valet parking area offers approximately 350 spaces and will be available 24/7. An electronic check-in kiosk for Delta Airlines customers is located in the valet parking lounge to serve passengers.
