Bridget Rief, P.E.
Bridget Rief – a MAC veteran of nearly 25 years – is currently vice president of Planning and Development.
She was appointed to this position in July 2017 following a series of jobs at the MAC that began as an assistant airport engineer in 1997, working mostly on projects within the MAC’s reliever airport system.
Rief became an Airside project manager in 1999, assistant director of Airside in 2005, and director of Airport Development in 2013 before accepting her current post.
As vice president of Planning and Development, Rief oversees the design, engineering and construction of all MAC facilities, including most recently the award-winning Silver Ramp at MSP Airport’s Terminal 1.
Rief holds a civil engineering degree from the University of Minnesota. She is also a graduate of the Hamline University Public Works Leadership Academy.
