34th Ave. S. / I-494 Projects

MSP Terminal 2 is experiencing periods of traffic congestion due to a Metro Transit rail project on 34th Ave. S. and a MnDOT project on Interstate 494.

If you are exiting Terminal 2 via 34th Ave. S. to I-494, consider Airport Lane as an alternate route to access I-494 in both directions.

During periods of congestion, travelers may also consider getting dropped off or picked up at nearby Blue Line light rail stations, such as the 30th Ave. or Fort Snelling stations. Travelers can access the Blue Line from the Orange Ramp at Terminal 2.
