MSP Noise Oversight Committee

What is the NOC?

The MSP Noise Oversight Committee (NOC) was established in August 2002 as an advisory board appointed to address aircraft noise issues associated with MSP. The NOC is made up of community representatives and aviation industry representatives that provide policy recommendations to the Metropolitan Airports Commission.

Members of the public are welcome to attend NOC meetings, which normally are held at 1:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of odd-numbered months (i.e.: January, March, May, etc.) unless otherwise noted.  Check our calendar for meeting locations and details.

During each meeting, 20 minutes are dedicated for public comment. Individuals choosing to speak during the public comment period may do so by submitting a speaker card prior to the meeting start time or by contacting their NOC representative prior to the meeting date. Each speaker will have one opportunity to speak and is allotted three (3) minutes.
